The FCNS Board of Directors are parents and community members that are interested in the governance of the school. Currently these meetings are virtual which works well for Board members with young children.
Ms. Jacey has been involved in FCNS for over 20 years. She started as a parent in 2000, became a teacher in 2005 and transitioned to director in 2010. She is a parent of 2 children adopted from South Korea. Her love of nature grew out of spending summers as a child at her family home on Block Island, RI. She finds great joy in seeing the children at FCNS explore and learn in nature,
Ms. Angela started at FCNS in 2017. Prior to FCNS, she was an early childhood teacher for 15 years, working with children between the ages of 2-6 years old. Angela loves spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, hiking, kayaking, camping, and caring for their 5 chickens. What Angela loves about her role at FCNS is supporting teachers to share the wonder and joy of exploring in nature with young children.
